About AMIAM Recovery
AMIAM Recovery LLC is a California company that runs an integration home for adult men, including veterans and first responders returning from ibogaine treatment abroad.
Our history
We have run sober houses in Southern California for more than fifteen years. For over a decade that included a beachfront home in Malibu, until the January 2025 Palisades Fire. We are opening in San Diego, with the same standards.
Who runs the home
Dustin and Brian, the owners, manage AMIAM directly. They are involved in the home day to day, and they keep it close to a family household, where people know each other and look out for each other.
AMIAM is owner-operated. We came to this through our own recovery, including recovery housing, programs and meetings, so we know what it takes to stay sober. We are involved in the house every day and stay in close contact with the residents.

How we run a home
- AMIAM is a home. We do not provide treatment, medical care or counseling.
- Every resident follows the same house rules.
- A house manager and the owners look after the home day to day.
- Residents choose their own outpatient provider, and staying is voluntary.
- We abide by all California occupancy laws and local zoning.
