Who we are
AMIAM Recovery LLC (“AMIAM Recovery,” “we,” “us”) is a company based in San Diego, California. We run an integration home and sober house for adult men. We do not provide treatment, medical care or counseling. This policy explains what information we collect through amiamrecovery.com and our business email account, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us at info@AMIAMRecovery.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use a contact or inquiry form, email or call us, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. If you are a property owner, agent or business partner, this includes your contact details and details about the property or arrangement we discuss.
- Website and device data: pages visited, browser type, device, approximate location, and referring page, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
- Business correspondence: emails and messages exchanged with us about housing, partnerships and leasing.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your questions and requests;
- evaluate, arrange and manage property leases and business relationships;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and services;
- keep records and meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Google user data and Gmail
Our staff use a Google account to send and receive business email at info@AMIAMRecovery.com, and we use an internal tool, authorized by us and used only by AMIAM Recovery team members, that connects to that mailbox through Google’s Gmail API. The tool reads and labels email messages in our own mailbox so that we can track replies from property owners and agents and organize our inbox, and it may create or send messages that our team has reviewed and approved. The tool is not offered to the public and does not access the Google accounts of website visitors.
- We access only the data in our own business mailbox, and only to provide these features to our team.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to operate the tool, to comply with law, or with the account owner’s consent.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- No person reads email content except our authorized team members, unless needed for security, to comply with law, or with consent.
- AMIAM Recovery’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed and general location). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business (such as web hosting, form and email delivery, and analytics providers), when you ask us to share it, when we are required to by law or legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of residents, staff and others. Information about a person’s recovery or health that you give us is treated as confidential and is not shared with property owners, landlords or other third parties without your permission, except where the law requires.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@AMIAMRecovery.com. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
