Prescribed medication at AMIAM

Taking the medication your doctor prescribes is fine here, including medication for addiction treatment.

What that means

  • Medication taken as directed is allowed. That includes buprenorphine (Suboxone), methadone and naltrexone.
  • Tell the house manager what you take. The list is enough, and you never have to share your diagnosis.
  • You choose your own doctors, therapists and outpatient provider. AMIAM does not prescribe or provide medication.

Residents stay substance-free, which includes cannabis. See the house rules for the full picture.
