How to move in
AMIAM is for adult men, including veterans and first responders returning from ibogaine treatment abroad, who want a sober home with clear rules and daily accountability.
The steps
Call or send a message. Tell us where you are in your recovery and when you want to move.
Talk with the house manager about the house rules and what living here is like. Ask anything you like.
Read the resident packet and sign it. It is the same packet every resident signs, and you get a copy to keep.
Move in, meet the house, and start your week.
What you will sign
You can ask for the full packet before you decide. It has six parts:
- The resident agreement and house rights
- The house rules and discharge policy
- The drug and alcohol testing consent
- The privacy notice and consent to release information
- The grievance policy, which explains how to raise a complaint
- An acknowledgment page with signatures
How long you can stay
There is no set limit on how long you can stay. Staying is voluntary.
What it costs
Fees are set for each home and written down before you move in: a one-time move-in fee, a regular fee, and a refundable security deposit. Residents pay from their own funds or money their family gives them for housing. We do not bill insurance or any government program for the stay.
